The Situation

Balance Me, a leading skincare brand known for its natural and skin balancing formulations, aimed to boost visibility for their hero Vitamin C product and newly launched Azelaic Acid serum. While their products resonated with customers, they needed engaging video and static assets to stand out in a competitive beauty market.

The team were looking to create a campaign that effectively conveyed their brand ethos and product benefits. They were looking for clear campaign strategy, creative direction and polished production, to land with impact and connect with their audience.

To achieve this, Balance Me partnered with Formation Studio to create a brand-led campaign that would help them stand out from the crowd, launch their new products and reinforce their positioning of balancing, natural skincare - formulated by sisters.

The Formation POA

  • Campaign strategy and creative concept development

    We began by defining the campaign objectives and key messages, working closely with the Balance Me team to ensure alignment. After presenting three creative routes, the client chose the concept Created by Sisters, Balanced for You—a message celebrating the brand’s founders and their commitment to balanced skincare solutions.

  • Art direction and full-scale production

    From concept to execution, we handled every aspect of production, including art direction, styling, model selection and HMU coordination, studio and photographer and videographer sourcing, and directing the shoot. On the shoot day, we oversaw the creation of multiple videos and stills, ensuring all assets aligned with the campaign idea and then worked on the final edits with the shoot team.

  • Gifting product shoot

    We also produced a separate shoot for the Balance Me Christmas gifting range. We developed a fresh art direction, sourced props, oversaw photography and edit, resulting in high-quality imagery for their website, social media, and paid advertising channels.

Results

  • We delivered three films across a variety of formats and over 40 still images.

  • This provided Balance Me with a high volume of content that could be used across their website, CRM and social channels.

  • From a half-day gifting shoot we delivered over 30 images to support their Christmas launch.
